Pat Henry
Pat has been advising clients on their investment needs since 1988. “I joined Hanson McClain because of the firm’s core values and its high standards of service,” he says. “People work so hard for their money. I got into financial planning because I wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to achieve their retirement goals. As a financial planner, I’ve found that being a good listener is crucial to designing a plan that works for both the short and long-term.”
Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Finance at California State University, Sacramento. Pat is a member of Hanson McClain’s investment committee and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Pat's dedication to helping employees understand their retirement benefits and options moves beyond the boundaries of the people he meets with individually. Pat also teaches other advisors in the Hanson McClain Partner Program the details of telecom and utility retirement plans so that they too can educate employees preparing to transition to retirement.
Outside of the financial world, running and playing golf are not only hobbies for Pat, but also avenues for him to give back to his community. He participates in charity golf tournaments and running events, including the annual Hanson McClain Run to Feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving morning. Pat is also actively involved with local blood drives and recruiting bone marrow donors. Pat enjoys spending time with his wife, Heike, and two children, Chris and Nathan, and their wonder dog, Nito.
