As community stewards, we're proud of the dozens of programs and partnerships that we have created, supported and participated in that allow us to engage our neighbors and help the people of the Sacramento region thrive.
Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is dedicated to assisting those in need by feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, strengthening families through a program of ethics and self esteem, educating the illiterate and housing homeless families with children.
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
River Oak Center for Children is committed to helping children and families successfully manage life’s challenges through a wide range of behavioral health and social services by providing prevention, treatment and caring support. River Oak advocates bringing outstanding and innovative programs to children and families in need.
Canine Companions for Independence® is a national nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of children and adults with disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
Wind Youth Services works with youth experiencing homelessness, helping them find safety from the streets and giving them access to resources to help them move from crisis to healthy functioning and independent lives.
Boys & Girls Clubs keep kids safe, help working families and inspire learning, while providing opportunities to help young people develop into successful adults.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
CAPC’s vision is to produce healthier, more socially productive children and families by creating sustainable systems designed to significantly reduce the incidence and impact of abuse, neglect or abandonment in Sacramento County.
